About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist senior technicians with testing, inspection, and basic maintenance of fire suppression systems including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and special hazard systems
  • Support inspection of valves, gauges, piping, sprinkler heads, alarm connections, and related suppression system components
  • Use hand tools and testing equipment under supervision
  • Help perform basic functional testing and visual inspections of suppression systems
  • Assist with documenting inspection results, deficiencies, and job site conditions
  • Follow company safety procedures, customer site requirements, and applicable codes and standards
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and proper working condition
  • Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors
  • Travel to job sites as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No minimum experience necessary
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, if driving role
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn fire suppression systems
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under direct supervision
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Ability to work effectively in team environments
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
  • Adherence to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy
