About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a technical resource for operational support of enterprise HCM systems
  • Handle tier-1 and tier-2 technical troubleshooting, user support, and operational issues
  • Manage HCM configuration changes, user accounts, security access, and system maintenance
  • Develop and maintain HCM reports and dashboards and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Troubleshoot integrations with payroll, benefits, and BI systems
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge-base content
  • Escalate complex issues to vendors or implementation partners and coordinate resolutions
  • Participate in technical design, configuration analysis, testing, and troubleshooting for HCM projects and enhancements
  • Provide technical analysis, configuration recommendations, and validation support
  • Support data analysis, integration development, and technical validation activities
  • Monitor HCM system health and performance and resolve technical issues
  • Support patches and upgrades
  • Recommend system optimizations for efficiency and user experience
  • Maintain current knowledge of HCM capabilities and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 4-6 years of hands-on HCM system technical experience (configuration, customization, troubleshooting, reporting)
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise HCM systems (Workday, Oracle HCM, SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms)
  • Experience with HCM system integrations (APIs, middleware, data architecture)
  • Solid understanding of HR business processes, data structures, and payroll/benefits concepts
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and working independently to resolve problems
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and operationally
  • Ability to manage multiple technical workstreams and changing priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to document technical issues and solutions
  • Ability to work effectively with vendors, partners, and business stakeholders
  • Experience with HCM system configuration, data models, security, and integration architecture
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain rigorous data-quality standards
  • Some travel may be required
