About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze the performance of wind, photovoltaic, and energy storage plants and ensure data reliability
- Collaborate with Asset Managers to monitor and analyze the performance of operating sites and systems
- Ensure the integrity of collected data, analyze it, and share insights
- Work with various departments to optimize project profitability and plant performance
- Develop automated dashboards for stakeholders
- Administer databases and work with MySQL and Power BI
- Provide support for the day-to-day management of data and the creation of access policies and permissions
- Be responsible for SCADA data historization and monitoring platforms
- Monitor SCADA systems and networks, perform diagnostics, detect anomalies, and resolve them during the operations phase
- Serve as the technical point of contact for SCADA-related matters and the management of operating facilities
- Collaborate with the Development, Procurement, and Construction teams to improve monitoring tools and share best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of facility reliability and facilitate working groups
- Monitor the SCADA service provider’s contractual obligations during the operations phase
- Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) prevention measures
- Report any event or hazardous situation affecting people or the environment
- Participate in HSE training and awareness initiatives
- Comply with and implement quality policies and procedures
- Contribute to updating quality management system documentation
- Report nonconformities and contribute to corrective actions
- Participate in continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives and projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree, preferably with a broad-based engineering background
- Strong technical skills and the ability to work in multidisciplinary environments
- Good knowledge of automation and control systems
- Good knowledge of IT and communication networks
- Basic knowledge of high- and low-voltage electrical systems
- Strong communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to make quick decisions when the situation requires it
- Good command of technical English
- Initial experience in the renewable energy sector would be a significant advantage
- Curiosity, autonomy, and enthusiasm for taking on technical challenges
- Willingness to travel regularly to company sites across France, representing approximately 25% of working time
