About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and improve Cellect’s AWS environments, including infrastructure, access, monitoring, backups, and reliability.
- Improve the shared CI/CD framework and deployment practices, while supporting development teams with their service-specific pipelines.
- Strengthen monitoring, observability, and alerting practices to improve visibility into system health and enable faster identification and resolution of production issues.
- Support the investigation and resolution of production incidents, contribute to root-cause analysis, and implement improvements to prevent recurring issues.
- Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks.
- Develop and maintain internal tools for Delivery and Operations, including monitoring, administration, recovery, and other self-service functionality.
- Work with development teams to improve the reliability and operation of the services they build.
- Keep operational documentation, procedures, and runbooks up to date.
- Report directly to the Head of Product Development and collaborate across Development, Delivery, and Operations teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar role.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience operating AWS-based production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
- Experience designing, maintaining, or improving CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and alerting in production environments.
- Scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash/Shell, or similar languages.
- Good understanding of cloud architecture fundamentals, APIs, databases, networking, IAM, and cloud security principles.
- Experience troubleshooting production systems and incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Experience building scripts, automation, or lightweight internal tooling to simplify infrastructure or operational workflows.
- Ability to work effectively across Development, Delivery, and Operations teams, communicating technical topics clearly and collaboratively.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
