About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and execute the UK go-to-market strategy, from prospecting to closing
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK retail sector
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, negotiation, contracting and closing
  • Build long-term relationships with key retail accounts and partners
  • Negotiate directly with senior decision-makers, including COO, Head of Logistics/Supply Chain, and other C-level stakeholders
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and client meetings across the UK
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to adapt the offering and messaging to the UK market
  • Report on pipeline health, performance and market trends to senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Strong track record in the UK retail sector
  • Proven experience negotiating and closing deals at C-level / senior decision-maker level
  • An existing network within UK retail is a strong plus
  • Comfortable working in a "hunter" role, building a market from scratch
  • Familiarity with SaaS / software-based solutions is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Confidence working with CRM and sales data
  • Based in the UK
  • Willingness to travel across the UK to meet clients and attend industry events
