About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, implement, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity
  • Deliver solutions in live production systems individually and collaboratively
  • Support and maintain custom features, with occasional on-call availability
  • Ensure adherence to security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies
  • Assist and mentor teammates by providing technical guidance and best practices
  • Contribute to front-end and back-end software components across the Q2 platform
  • Integrate with internal systems and external services
  • Develop robust, scalable solutions aligned with business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 2+ years of relevant experience (or advanced degree without experience)
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Web development experience
  • Knowledge of the full software development life cycle and service-oriented architecture
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience contributing in an Agile development environment
  • Occasional availability for on-call/emergency support
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Working knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG) applied across product, design, and engineering
  • Fluent written and oral communication in English
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa
