About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Write software for the collection, analysis, operations and presentation of data from thousands of buildings around the world
Make technological and architectural decisions independently
Use functional programming style and clean, simple code
Continuously innovate and deploy software using internally developed testing and monitoring tools
Use Infrastructure as Code extensively
Develop and maintain backend code primarily in Go with SQL, and also use C#, F# and Rust
Develop frontend code using TypeScript and React or Angular
Collaborate with distributed team members and stakeholders across locations and timezones

Requirements

What you’ll need

Write simple, understandable code
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and the extended toolbox: Cert-Manager, Loki, Mimir, Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, Istio, Kyverno, Helm and Kustomize
Deep knowledge of either Rust or Golang programming language
Deep knowledge of Infrastructure-As-Code and Terraform
5+ years of experience working with monitoring and alerting
Familiarity with operating software under strict SLA
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud platform
Desire and ability to regularly learn new technologies and their ecosystems
Excellent English knowledge; clearly communicate tech and code decisions in writing and verbally
Experience working within a distributed team with team members and stakeholders in different locations and timezones
Fluent in DevOps: YAML, pipelines, Terraform and scripting
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Understanding of Agile development
Ability and ambition to work on-site in Lund office 3x/week
A strong desire to always learn and improve
