About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement and maintain business/site quality programs aligned to the ACP Business Quality Strategy at the plant level
  • Interface between customers and the plant to ensure consistent quality service and represent the Voice of Customer / Customer Quality Champion
  • Provide technical and business assessments and recommendations for customers’ commercial product special requests
  • Act as TSMC quality focal point and build relationships, services, and information flow among the plant, customer, purchasing, supply chain, research, product stewardship, and commercial organizations
  • Manage product returns and non-conforming products, including disposition
  • Monitor quality management system effectiveness and communicate improvement opportunities to leadership
  • Generate and use quality data to drive product quality improvements with cross-functional partners
  • Lead and participate in management-of-change reviews affecting product quality
  • Consult on material handling guidelines and quality requirements for Contract Manufacturing Operations Plan
  • Train and guide plant personnel and other roles on customer and product regulatory requirements
  • Identify and lead improvement opportunities based on data analysis, customer audits, and quality-related programs
  • Host customer and external-party quality visits and audits
  • Lead product quality problem-solving efforts, including corrective action management and root-cause investigations; communicate updates and manage customer expectations
  • Conduct audits of plants, labs, terminals, warehouses, contract manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and customers
  • Lead or participate in plant and cross-functional project reviews affecting product quality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors (or higher) degree in chemistry or chemical Engineering/Technical discipline OR 5 years (min.) experience in the engineering field in an industrial or manufacturing environment
