About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage master data creation, updates, and deletion
  • Perform complex data entry in SAP and other systems accurately and efficiently
  • Gather data from content owners and transfer it into standard SAP-based ERP formats
  • Apply business data standards, policies, and procedures
  • Lead compliance and improvement audits
  • Investigate stakeholder complaints
  • Assist customers in resolving problems using specialized knowledge
  • Assist with training and learning of others
  • Create and improve technical documents and procedures
  • Maintain credibility with stakeholders and coworkers
  • Meet team and individual performance objectives through continual improvement
  • Identify alternatives and suggest improvements to job tasks and processes
  • Study and apply best practices
  • Solicit performance feedback and practice self-reflection

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in related technical field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with SAP is mandatory
  • Practitioner of SAP GUI Scripting and mass load tools like MM17, LSMW etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both local language (Japanese) and English language
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation creation, and internet research tools
  • Experience working independently with minimal guidance
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with mature judgment
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Must be able to work flexible working hours
  • Good working knowledge of manufacturing business operations
  • Experience with master data management concepts
  • Chemical industry experience is preferred
