About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain a platform for KYC and Investigation purposes
- Own initiatives end-to-end: clarify requirements, propose solutions, develop, release, and operate
- Lead Junior Engineers through technical direction, task breakdown and estimation, code reviews, mentoring, and onboarding
- Stay hands-on with C#/.NET Core, TypeScript, and React
- Troubleshoot defects, production incidents, performance issues, and technical debt
- Design and work with event-driven architecture, queues, and asynchronous processing
- Collaborate with the Architecture team to build scalable systems
- Ensure testing, observability, security, CI/CD, and IaC for application-related AWS infrastructure
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and technical documentation
- Leverage AI tools such as Claude Code throughout the SDLC
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–7 years of Software Engineering experience, including 1–2 years of leading or mentoring Junior Engineers
- Strong experience with C#/.NET Core and TypeScript/React
- Experience with MS SQL Server and relational database design
- Experience with event-driven architecture, queues, asynchronous processing, and failure modes
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
- Proven experience owning major initiatives from scoping to release
- Strong production mindset around testing, observability, security, and CI/CD
- Strong product mindset and proactive scope shaping
- Solid knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms
- Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows
- Ability to work effectively with an existing codebase
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to mentor Junior Engineers and willingness to learn
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate is nice to have
- Experience with MongoDB, DocumentDB, or DynamoDB is nice to have
