About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently manage the technical operations of a demanding portfolio of residential and commercial properties
- Ensure cost-effective, safe, and uninterrupted building operations
- Plan, manage, and quality-check maintenance, repair, and servicing measures
- Select, commission, and coordinate external specialist contractors, while monitoring service delivery
- Ensure compliance with statutory operator obligations as well as technical and safety requirements
- Conduct technical property inspections and derive appropriate optimization measures
- Support budget planning and manage technical measures with regard to cost, quality, and deadlines
- Serve as the technical point of contact for owners, tenants, and internal departments
- Depending on experience, take responsibility for managing modernization, conversion, or refurbishment projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed technical vocational training or a degree specializing in real estate or building technology
- Professional experience in technical property management, facility management, or the technical management of real estate
- Good knowledge of building services engineering and relevant statutory requirements
- Commercial awareness and a solution-oriented working style
- Strong organizational skills and enthusiasm for coordinating a range of project stakeholders
- Confident manner, excellent communication skills, and a high degree of initiative
- Good knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications
