About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support injured workers throughout the Northern Virginia Metro area
  • Collaborate with injured workers, treatment providers, and the multidisciplinary Claim Management Team using medical management guidelines
  • Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, evaluate, and adjust care plans
  • Achieve positive health outcomes and facilitate safe, timely return to work
  • Keep cases moving safely and efficiently
  • Work approximately 40% from a home office and travel locally approximately 60% of the time to case-related medical appointments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BSN degree preferred; will consider Associate degree in Nursing with related case management experience
  • 3+ years of nursing experience in Orthopedics, Neurology, Trauma, or Occupational Health
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable with day-to-day computer use for documentation
  • Workers' compensation or disability case management experience preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Ideal candidate resides in the DMV area (Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., or Maryland)
  • Available Monday–Friday during business hours, typically 8:00am–5:00pm
  • Willingness to travel locally to case-related medical appointments
