Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Property Development and Finance teams, third-party consultants, and construction managers with construction contract setup and project life-cycle tracking
Provide comprehensive support to Project Managers by ensuring timely delivery of project milestones, addressing follow-up items, and driving initiatives to maintain project schedules and scope adherence
Offer E-Builder support through integration efforts in project development, assist with cost and budget tracking, and maintain up-to-date project files
Provide Workday support by creating construction contracts
Manage and ensure compliance with construction contracts by overseeing contract setup and verifying that billing requirements are met
Manage and facilitate kickoff meetings to train and onboard new general contractors on billing processes, pay application requirements, and system uploads
Serve as key contact for development construction contracts and monthly payables, including submitting breakout payments and verifying contractor documentation
Create and monitor Supplier Contracts and Change Orders for Project Managers across Substation, Datahall, and Shell projects
Collaborate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, third-party stakeholders, contractors, designers, vendors, and Accounting on billing, change orders, cost inquiries, and reconciliations
Manage monthly pay applications, track payments, and ensure timely submission for processing
Submit, track, and route change orders/additional services for projects
File construction contracts, change order contracts, and substantial completion certificates under legal documents in e-Builder
Assist with construction contract closeout, ensuring documentation completion, final payment processing, and proper archiving

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, financing, or accounting; or relevant professional experience
One to three years of experience
Knowledge of construction contract documents and change management
Experience in financial and project management software (e.g., Workday, e-Builder, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud)
Ability to collaboratively work within dynamic and diverse team and environment
One or more years working in a data center environment (preferred)
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
Basic accounting understanding and applications
