About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, manage, and deliver internal IT projects on time and within budget
Facilitate communication between systems engineers, network engineers, data center technicians, and different departments
Ensure adherence to existing company guidelines
Work with systems and network engineering teams to complete technical discovery
Apply project management expertise to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services
Collaborate with team managers and resources to identify project approach, deliverables, tasks, and required resources
Develop and actively manage project plans, phases, tasks, resources, deliverables, and due dates using traditional project management practices
Review proposed changes to project plans with stakeholders and approve and implement beneficial changes
Manage multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven environment and complete projects on time
Monitor and report project status, issues, risks, and escalations to upper management, including C-levels
Develop and improve internal processes and documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management or other related field or equivalent professional experience
Seven or more years of IT, Project Management, service delivery or customer relationship management experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Experience building detailed technical project plans and task dependencies based on technical familiarity and stakeholder interviews
Experience managing complex, strategic programs with multiple sub-projects/workstreams
Advanced knowledge of data center/critical environment concepts, such as space, power, cooling and connectivity
Advanced knowledge of technologies found within data center architecture, such as routers, switches, firewalls, server components, storage, and virtualization
US Citizenship is required by law due to federal customer contracts
Five or more years of progressive project management experience or team lead experience in an IT infrastructure environment
PMP or Agile certification
ITIL Certification
Experience with Salesforce CRM
Experience with Project Management applications such as MS Project or Clarity
Prior experience working in a Data Center environment
Experience in project managing customer migrations
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with Senior Management
Strong facilitation skills
Extensive experience multitasking across multiple concurrent and complex projects
Strong communication, organization, and management skills
Strong time management and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
