About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain reusable AI accelerators for common client challenges
- Build end-to-end AI solutions for demonstrations and production implementations
- Lead technical demonstrations and present solution capabilities, limitations, costs, and performance considerations to clients
- Deploy and adapt AI solutions within client environments
- Own technical workstreams from initial development through production deployment
- Own technical outcomes of assigned workstreams
- Develop portable solutions for cloud, on-premises, and restricted-network environments
- Implement evaluation frameworks, testing methodologies, and quality benchmarks
- Apply software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, CI/CD, and secure development standards
- Produce gap-to-production assessments with implementation requirements, technical limitations, and effort estimates
- Continuously improve accelerators using lessons learned, evaluation cases, and reusable connectors
- Mentor junior team members, conduct technical reviews, and support professional development
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3-6 years of experience in software development with strong Python programming skills
- Hands-on experience building AI/LLM-based applications, including retrieval systems, prompting, agent orchestration, tool integration, and evaluation frameworks
- Experience with Databricks and at least one major cloud platform, including Spark, SQL, and production deployment workflows
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD processes
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently to client technical teams and stakeholders, including candid discussion of limitations and trade-offs
- Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and ability to adapt to rapidly evolving AI technologies and tools
- Professional proficiency in English
- Greek is considered an advantage
- Experience in regulated industries such as utilities, banking, insurance, energy, public sector, or similar environments is considered an asset
- Familiarity with self-hosted or open-source AI model deployments is desirable
- Understanding of GDPR, EU AI Act, DORA, and NIS2 is considered a plus
