About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and support of internal and customer IT infrastructure
- Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and technical teams on pre-sales activities
- Understand customer requirements and design high-level technical solutions
- Prepare architecture proposals, define infrastructure sizing, estimate implementation effort and costs, and provide technical input for RFPs, RFIs, and commercial proposals
- Design and implement infrastructure security and management solutions using cloud security technologies
- Design, implement, and maintain backup, redundancy, and Disaster Recovery strategies
- Design, install, and configure virtualization and storage systems, Microsoft servers and applications, Microsoft Networking Services, and backup and storage services across on-premises and multi-cloud infrastructure
- Design and implement performance and availability monitoring
- Ensure system availability and reliability
- Analyze technical issues and provide 3rd-level support
- Liaise with vendors and internal teams to resolve problems
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of IT engineering technologies
- Ensure activities comply with regulatory requirements and support implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10 years of hands-on IT engineering experience
- Client oriented with client facing experience
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Very good knowledge and hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions and services
- Experience with Azure Hub-and-Spoke Network Architectures, Azure Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall, Azure Networking, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune (MDM), Microsoft Teams, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Defender Security solutions
- Very good knowledge and hands-on experience with VMware and Hyper-V clusters, storage management, and virtual networking
- Experience designing and implementing Microsoft server products and applications, Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, and Federation Services
- Knowledge of infrastructure configuration and monitoring software
- Experience designing and implementing backup and replication solutions such as Veeam, including storage integration
- Knowledge of end-user encryption technologies such as BitLocker and Endpoint Security
- Knowledge and experience in AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud considered a plus
- Certified or in track in Microsoft on-premises and Azure-related certifications on Identity, Security, Virtual Desktops, or Access Management; VMware vSphere 7 or later; Endpoint Management; or Database Administration
