About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and deliver complex software projects end-to-end
- Support planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of projects and service engagements
- Coordinate project activities, resources, timelines, and deliverables
- Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, customers, partners, and vendors
- Facilitate communication through meetings, status updates, and reporting
- Monitor progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, escalating when necessary
- Support schedules, resource allocation, workload management, and forecasting
- Track budgets, effort consumption, resource utilization, and delivery performance
- Coordinate consultant onboarding, offboarding, and staffing activities
- Monitor timesheet submissions and effort reporting
- Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, KPIs, and progress updates
- Maintain project documentation, action logs, risk registers, decision logs, and governance records
- Organize project governance activities, including status meetings, steering committees, service reviews, and working groups
- Ensure alignment between business requirements, customer expectations, and project execution
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, delivery efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy
- Identify and report potential bribery and corruption risks and promote ethical behavior through training and awareness initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 5-10+ years of experience in software project management
- Strong technical background, with prior software engineering experience highly desirable
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
- Proven experience with Agile, SAFe, PRINCE2, PMP, PM2, and Lean project management methodologies
- Strong technical skills and thorough understanding of software development processes and technologies
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, including MS Project, Jira, and Azure DevOps
- Excellent client-facing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience within the banking sector considered an asset
- Ability to work on client premises for the duration of the project
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English, written and verbal
- Relevant certification in internationally recognized project management methodologies, such as PMP, PM2, PRINCE2, or SAFe
