About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable ELT/ETL pipelines in Snowflake
  • Ingest data from internal systems, third-party sources, and APIs while ensuring data quality, integrity, and performance
  • Develop and maintain dimensional and analytical data models using SQL, dbt, Snowpark, Streams/Tasks, and orchestration frameworks
  • Monitor pipeline health and manage Snowflake cost, performance, and access controls
  • Apply version control, testing, and CI/CD practices to data and automation assets
  • Build analytics solutions that answer business questions and drive operational efficiency
  • Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models using DAX, Power Query, and row-level security
  • Support KPI and business metric development and ad hoc analysis projects
  • Design and deploy LLM-powered solutions for extraction, summarization, classification, intelligent search/RAG, and AI-assisted reporting
  • Develop prompts, evaluation methods, and guardrails for accurate, auditable, and appropriate AI outputs
  • Build and maintain RPA and workflow automations integrating with the data platform and business systems
  • Identify automation opportunities, document expected value, and measure results after deployment
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data, analytics, and automation solutions
  • Manage workstreams and cross-functional deliverables with internal and external partners
  • Support data governance, security, responsible AI, and protection of PHI/PII
  • Build stakeholder trust through documentation, validation, and clear communication
  • Stay current on data, AI, and automation technologies and comply with organizational policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of experience as a data engineer, analytics engineer, data analyst, or automation developer
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including advanced SQL and building and optimizing data pipelines and models
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design
  • Experience with Python or another scripting language for data processing and automation
  • Experience in data integration, modeling, optimization, and data quality
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Preferred: experience with LLMs and generative AI, including prompt engineering, RAG, API integration, and evaluation
  • Preferred: experience with RPA and workflow automation tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere
  • Preferred: familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Azure Functions, dbt, or comparable tools
  • Preferred: experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
  • Preferred: knowledge of data governance, security, privacy practices, and HIPAA
  • Preferred: Snowflake or cloud/AI certifications
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
