About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review proposals for group health plans, including association plans, small and midsize business (SMB) plans, and corporate group plans (public-sector segment), ensuring documentation and enrollment information comply with requirements
- Validate required documentation, including personal identification documents, proof of address, eligibility documentation, documentation for waiting-period credit, forms, and proposals
- Identify outstanding items, inconsistencies, or noncompliance and record the appropriate notes in internal systems
- Return proposals with clear, objective guidance for correction
- Record and keep information up to date in operational systems
- Respond to tickets related to proposals and provide support to the sales team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field
- Previous experience with document review, proposal acceptance, or data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Comfortable working with operational systems and digital platforms
- Experience with health insurance carrier processes is a plus
- Basic knowledge of the health insurance market is a plus
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Teamwork and effective cross-functional collaboration
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an empathetic and objective approach to service
- Commitment, accountability, and respect for working hours and agreements
