About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join one of Qualio's platform teams and help develop a feature area beyond MVP
  • Partner with the team to design, implement, and deliver effective cloud-based solutions
  • Collaborate with product managers, customer success partners, architecture, and peer engineering teams
  • Own a specific horizontal area of the application
  • Build, deploy, operate, and support robust cloud-based solutions
  • Ensure timeliness, quality, usability, operational stability, performance, and alignment with customer requirements and business objectives
  • Apply test-driven development, clean code, automation, CI/CD, and Agile/DevSecOps practices
  • Use AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and prototyping

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience with Python, Node.js, RDBMS, and NoSQL databases
  • Proficiency with AWS cloud-based services including ECS, Lambda, EC2, ELB, API Gateway, security groups, and VPCs
  • Proficiency with OpenSearch
  • Ability to conduct architecture and code reviews
  • Engineering best practices in TDD, clean code, and CI/CD
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and a DevSecOps environment
  • Experience across application platforms, integration patterns, event-driven architecture, data management, and infrastructure as code
  • Active use of AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar
  • Willingness to learn different programming languages
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to maintain a proactive, positive attitude in a fast-paced, changing environment
