About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond to and resolve technical tickets both onsite and remotely
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Provide support for Windows operating systems and corporate applications
- Configure and provide basic support for TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and groups in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments
- Monitor and record support interactions in a Service Desk tool
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents and service requests
- Support the implementation of infrastructure and technology projects
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with established SLAs and quality standards
- Report to the Operations Supervisor or IT Coordinator
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical diploma or an ongoing/completed degree in Information Technology, Networking, Information Systems, or a related field
- Previous experience in Level 1 technical support
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and remote access tools
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and structured cabling
- Experience with ticket management tools
- ITIL, Microsoft, or CompTIA certifications
- Knowledge of monitoring systems
- Experience supporting medium- and large-sized corporate environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive approach and sense of urgency
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organization and ability to manage priorities
- Teamwork and customer service focus
- Availability for field support and occasional on-call shifts
