About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise clients holistically on quality assurance and testing
- Support clients in establishing a sustainable quality culture
- Develop test management deliverables such as test strategies, test concepts, and test plans
- Empower and develop teams
- Advise on the selection and evaluation of suitable testing and quality tools
- Coach testers, test automation engineers, and test managers
- Identify risks and opportunities for improvement and derive effective, pragmatic measures
- Advise clients on staffing project roles in quality and testing
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and coaching sessions
- Support tenders and proposals, particularly in the public sector
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders at all organizational levels
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed training as an IT specialist, a degree in computer science from a university or university of applied sciences, or equivalent qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in software testing, ideally with exposure to multiple testing disciplines
- ISTQB certification (at least Foundation Level; higher levels are an advantage)
- Holistic perspective across roles, methods, and tools, combined with pragmatic, risk-based decision-making
- Experience professionally coaching and sustainably developing colleagues and/or clients
- Confident, situation-appropriate communication at all organizational levels
- Open-minded, self-directed approach to work and enthusiasm for proactive teamwork
- Excellent German and very good English language skills
- Basic technical understanding of test automation and modern automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) is desirable
- Ideally, experience supporting tenders and preparing proposals
