About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze and assess existing systems and architectures, including architecture reviews
Design needs-based, robust, and forward-looking software architectures
Coordinate architectures with clients both remotely and on site
Develop high-performance software in accordance with client-specific requirements and architectures
Make architectural decisions collaboratively with the project team
Act as a point of contact for the development team and clients, providing hands-on support throughout projects
Support software development activities
Implement specified applications and deployments according to agile principles
Take responsibility for direct communication and knowledge sharing
Further develop the company’s technology stack
Coach colleagues by sharing methodological expertise, experience, and insights

Requirements

What you’ll need

Vocational training or a degree in a relevant field; an interdisciplinary professional background is welcome
Several years of experience in software development
Initial professional experience as a Software Architect
Holistic, solution-oriented, and abstract thinking
Experience with current technologies and frontend/backend frameworks, including Java EE, Spring, Angular, and REST
Knowledge of Java EE and Java frameworks such as Spring
Knowledge of CI/CD
Willingness and ability to work in an agile, cross-functional team
Excellent communication skills and a high degree of flexibility
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
