Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide strategic project management leadership for large and complex electric substation projects
  • Lead projects through internal and external processes and navigate the project life cycle
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and cost
  • Make key project decisions
  • Manage collaborative project teams and ensure functional disciplines meet planned scope, schedule, and cost
  • Lead projects through coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation, motivation, and negotiation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of project management experience required, including 3 or more years managing major engineering/procurement/construction activities in transmission and offshore wind
  • PMP Certification is desired
  • Ability to organize and work on multiple projects while meeting deadlines and setting priorities
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise status updates and reports
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Proficiency in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, assessing project consequences, and implementing recommendations to support project scope, schedule, and cost objectives
  • Excellent leadership, verbal and written communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Consistently produces results that meet goals, maintains high work standards, and understands business environments and processes
  • Problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational abilities
