About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and update detailed project schedules with input from Engineering, Project Managers, and Operations Management
- Coordinate responses from field and operations personnel
- Gather information from internal data management systems including Maximo, Procore, and ERP financials
- Assemble accurate reports and interpret data to predict project productivity trends
- Build and maintain cost- and resource-loaded programmatic schedules
- Gather weekly project progress from Project Managers and Superintendents/contractors
- Review change request and change order logs with Project Managers weekly
- Review and update project schedules with Management weekly
- Communicate data and trends clearly and concisely to Project and Operations Management
- Build detailed project schedules promptly upon project award or turnover
- Assemble and communicate data for scorecard, KPM, and portfolio tracking processes
- Maintain project and activity coding for reporting
- Assist in compiling scope change requests
- Follow PMO schedule development and update processes and established SWIs
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS or BA within a related field (or 8 years similar experience)
- Minimum of 4 years’ Scheduling experience building and maintaining project schedules for large programs and projects
- Experience scheduling within facility, plant, or rotating equipment projects
- PMP or CAPM (Preferred)
- Proficient in Primavera P6, SAP, Maximo, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience writing detailed and concise communications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexibility to accommodate shifting priorities due to demands and timeline changes
- Utilities, gas pipeline, or electric distribution/transmission/substation experience (Preferred)
