About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, and improve project documentation, procedures, reports, and communication materials
  • Support delivery of electrical utility capital and operational projects
  • Work with project managers, project controllers, engineers, construction managers, planners, regulatory teams, operations personnel, and executive stakeholders
  • Translate complex technical and project information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation
  • Standardize project controls documentation and support governance requirements
  • Improve knowledge management across the organization
  • Create and maintain project management policies, procedures, manuals, white papers, presentations, and other documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes and increase efficiency
  • Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of PMO methodologies and best practices
  • Maintain version control and document management protocols
  • Participate in meetings or interviews with subject matter experts to clarify documentation requirements
  • Coordinate requests for documentation and evidence
  • Create spreadsheets that compile large sets of data for evaluation and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, codes, and applicable regulations
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • 3-7 years of technical writing, project documentation, or project controls experience
  • Knowledge of applicable policies, codes, and regulations
  • Ability to create spreadsheets compiling large sets of data for evaluation and presentation
