About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and deploy Lean principles across semiconductor, photonic and system manufacturing
  • Map end-to-end flows using Value Stream Mapping and build improvement roadmaps
  • Analyze cycle time and lead actions to reduce lead time and WIP
  • Introduce pull-flow or controlled-WIP principles and improve flow between production stages
  • Identify bottlenecks, analyze equipment loading and capacity losses, and optimize sequencing
  • Implement and improve OEE monitoring and support preventive maintenance and TPM initiatives
  • Develop standardized work with Methods and Production
  • Build shop-floor and visual management systems with daily routines and escalation mechanisms
  • Lead structured problem solving using PDCA, DMAIC, 5 Why, Ishikawa, Pareto, and Kaizen
  • Deploy and sustain 5S in cleanroom environments while respecting contamination-control and safety requirements
  • Work with Process Engineering and Quality to reduce scrap, rework, and yield losses
  • Identify cost-reduction opportunities, build business cases, and track savings
  • Embed Lean into new production lines, layouts, and equipment investments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineering degree or Master's in Industrial, Manufacturing or Operations Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Engineering or Continuous Improvement
  • Proven track record of improving manufacturing performance
  • Hands-on expertise in VSM, Standardized Work, 5S, OEE, and cycle-time and WIP reduction
  • Strong data-driven, analytical mindset
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive change
  • Fluent French and professional English
  • Experience in semiconductors, photonics, cleanroom or wafer fab, industrial scale-up, SPC, or ERP/MES environments; Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification (nice to have)
