  • Approximately 10+ years of professional experience, including significant responsibility for complex technology or engineering programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, multidisciplinary projects with significant technical complexity, multiple interfaces and demanding delivery objectives.
  • Experience in space/aerospace, defense, semiconductors/microelectronics, advanced photonics or optics, complex scientific instrumentation, or other high-tech environments combining hardware, software and advanced engineering.
  • Experience with multidisciplinary and international stakeholders, including engineering teams, scientists, suppliers, industrial partners, research institutions and/or public organizations.
  • Concrete examples of managing significant scope, budget, resources, milestones, risks and external dependencies.
  • Sufficient technical depth to understand complex engineering discussions, challenge project assumptions and identify critical technical dependencies without replacing subject-matter experts.
  • Comfortable managing projects from early-stage R&D through engineering development, prototyping, integration and validation.
  • Strong command of WBS, planning, critical-path management, risk management, resource planning, budget management, change management and project governance.
