About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the functional bridge between exchanges’ market communications and QuantHouse’s development and QA teams.
- Monitor and interpret exchange-driven market evolutions.
- Translate market changes into clear functional specifications.
- Coordinate implementation from analysis through production release.
- Explain the functional impact of changes to Development, QA, and Technical Writing teams.
- Write development tickets according to Feedos standards and QuantHouse conventions.
- Track development and QA progress.
- Validate quality against group standards before authorizing production releases.
- Follow up on production deployments.
- Liaise with Network and Infrastructure teams on connectivity, exchange access, and deployment topics.
- Propose improvements to quality, tooling, and processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally in financial markets, market data, or trading technology.
- Basic knowledge of financial markets, including asset classes, trading mechanisms, and market data concepts.
- Basic Linux knowledge; comfortable navigating and reading logs.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Nice-to-have: Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Gemini.
- Nice-to-have: Excel and Redmine.
- Rigorous, curious, and passionate about financial markets and data.
- Strong written and verbal skills to bridge business, technology, and QA teams.
- Methodical approach to adopting new standards.
- Proactive in asking questions, managing ambiguity, and driving toward autonomy.
