About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, lead and develop a high-performing data engineering team
- Recruit and retain data engineers

Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience leading and developing data engineering teams, setting direction and building capability
- A track record of delivering data platforms that drove real customer and business results
- Hands-on technical credibility and willingness to get into technical detail
- Ability to translate technical complexity into clear, business-relevant narratives for stakeholders at every level
- Strong commercial acumen, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders on revenue, growth and competitive advantage
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- No ego
- Ability to work in the UK, with sponsorship requirements disclosed during application
