About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the infrastructure and outcomes of models driving forecasting and strategy
Build algorithms and pipelines to merge, manage and interrogate data for tailored reporting
Design and run experiments to test hypotheses and improve forecasting
Select, build and evaluate appropriate statistical and machine learning models
Turn model output into clear, decision-ready reporting showing how customers and clients interact with the business
Raise the modelling standard across the analytics team
Work alongside AI while maintaining analytical rigour

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years building and shipping statistical and machine learning models in production, ideally in a commercial or performance-driven setting
Fluent in Python and SQL
Comfortable owning model infrastructure end to end
Strong on experiment design and model selection
Able to evaluate what actually works
Able to translate complex modelling into clear reporting that non-technical stakeholders can act on
Able to challenge AI rather than lean on it, using it to move faster without losing rigour
Thrive when working as part of a team
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal English skills
No ego
