About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for products and capabilities within Quest Analytics’ regulatory portfolio
- Identify opportunities to expand within the health plan regulatory market through customer discovery, market research, user feedback, and exploration of underserved needs
- Take new products and capabilities from discovery and business case through development, launch, adoption, and optimization
- Develop and defend business cases for new product investments
- Develop a deep understanding of regulator customers, users, workflows, and evolving market needs
- Define and monitor success measures tied to customer value, product adoption, revenue growth, and satisfaction
- Translate complex healthcare, regulatory, customer, and business needs into clear product and operating requirements
- Prioritize the product backlog based on strategic value, customer impact, business opportunity, and technical feasibility
- Partner with Engineering throughout discovery and delivery to make tradeoffs and build scalable, performant solutions
- Use customer insights, product data, market intelligence, and large complex datasets to guide product decisions
- Navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex stakeholder needs while maintaining momentum
- Champion AI-enabled product development practices
- Use AI/LLM tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and emerging technologies for research, ideation, requirements development, prototyping, validation, backlog refinement, and documentation
- Identify opportunities to automate or accelerate research, testing, reporting, and product workflows
- Experiment with AI across the product lifecycle while maintaining data integrity, security, and compliance standards
- Share learnings and help the Product organization develop its AI capabilities
- Partner with Engineering, Client Success, Sales, Product Marketing, Analytics, and other stakeholders
- Build alignment across teams and influence decisions without direct authority
- Partner with go-to-market teams on positioning, launch strategy, sales enablement, and product adoption
- Communicate product strategy, decisions, progress, risks, and results to technical teams and executive leadership
- Mentor and support other Product Managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of Product Management experience within SaaS or equivalent relevant experience; healthcare technology experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record of taking new products or significant capabilities from idea to market, with clear ownership across discovery, development, launch, and optimization
- Strong expertise in product discovery and modern product delivery methodologies
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and driving alignment across Product, Engineering, commercial, and customer-facing teams
- Hands-on experience using AI/LLM tools to improve research, product documentation, workflow efficiency, ideation, prototyping, or validation
- Strong customer-discovery skills and ability to uncover needs that customers may not initially articulate
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and using data to inform product decisions
- Ability to develop compelling business cases and connect product investments to measurable customer and business outcomes
- Proven ability to influence without authority and move teams from discussion to decision and execution
- Excellent communication, storytelling, facilitation, and executive presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex or ambiguous challenges
- Customer-first mindset, high attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Experience within health plans, payer technology, or healthcare SaaS preferred
- Experience developing products for regulators, government agencies, or highly regulated healthcare environments preferred
- Knowledge of network adequacy, provider networks, regulatory compliance, provider data, or healthcare analytics preferred
- Experience launching data-intensive or analytics-driven products preferred
- Experience using AI to materially accelerate the product development lifecycle preferred
