About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the company’s systems architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and global scalability.
Design the company’s future technology landscape from a global perspective, considering platform evolution, legacy system integration, innovation, and technology sustainability.
Oversee the team of architects and systems engineers, promoting best practices, governance, and technological innovation.
Define and maintain the reference architecture for SAP ECC, Azure, commercial APIs, B2B portals, and integrations with legacy systems and third parties.
Serve as the architecture guardian for strategic projects such as the migration to S/4HANA, the evolution of the Global B2B Portal, and AI and automation initiatives.
Evaluate and approve technical solutions, ensuring security, performance, resilience, and compliance with corporate policies.
Lead impact assessments, technology risk analyses, and mitigation planning for highly complex projects.
Act as a link between technical and business teams, translating strategic needs into viable technology solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience in enterprise systems architecture, with a focus on SAP ECC, Azure, REST APIs, EDI, and microservices.
Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture practices, asynchronous layers, and integration with platforms such as Power BI Embedded, ServiceNow, and Tableau.
Proficiency in cloud services, with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure: Azure DevOps, API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Event Grid.
Knowledge of SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and its connection models.
Knowledge of information security as applied to architecture, including zero trust, federated authentication (OAuth2, OpenID Connect), Brazil’s LGPD, and GDPR.
Knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or SAFe.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation.
Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, SAFe Architect, or SAP Certified Technology Associate are strong differentiators.
Active participation in architecture forums, technology events, or technical publications is a strong differentiator.
Knowledge of observability solutions such as New Relic, Datadog, or Dynatrace is a strong differentiator.
Fluency in English for work on global projects is a strong differentiator.
Experience leading technical chapters or communities of practice is a strong differentiator.
