About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, secure, accredit, and operate the IT backbone of classified operational spaces
  • Deploy and maintain IT systems inside Secret Collateral and SCI-accredited spaces, including SCIF infrastructure
  • Install and maintain CWAN, DISN, SIPR, and/or JWICS networks
  • Deploy classified-compliant workstations and peripherals
  • Support all end-user systems in coordination with the ISSM and Facility Security Officer
  • Ensure employees have fast, reliable, and secure access to required tools
  • Make corporate IT systems scalable, well-documented, and easy to operate
  • Configure, patch, and secure endpoints consistently
  • Minimize downtime and respond quickly to IT issues
  • Balance strong security with developer velocity
  • Establish trust across engineering, operations, and leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years supporting corporate or enterprise IT environments
  • Strong experience with endpoint management across macOS, Windows, and Linux
  • Hands-on experience with identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, and RBAC
  • Experience administering internal networks, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and office infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of security best practices for corporate IT environments
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving startup environment with minimal process overhead
  • Comfortable owning systems end-to-end with high reliability expectations
  • Experience with MDM platforms such as Jamf, Intune, or Kandji (preferred)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based IT tooling such as Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, and Atlassian (preferred)
  • Experience supporting distributed or hybrid teams (preferred)
  • Exposure to compliance-driven environments including SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP-adjacent workflows (preferred)
  • Scripting or automation experience (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain or currently hold a U.S. Government SECRET clearance (preferred)
  • Experience supporting or setting up IT systems in classified or controlled-access environments (preferred)
  • Must satisfy ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations
  • Availability to work onsite a minimum of three days per week
