About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate and maintain cloud services and platforms
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure availability, performance, and reliability
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes related to cloud services
- Implement and maintain cloud governance standards, policies, and controls
- Ensure compliance with internal security, operational, and regulatory requirements
- Manage access controls, resource organization, and governance frameworks
- Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives and promote efficient resource utilization
- Analyze cloud consumption trends and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost allocation activities
- Contribute to cloud governance and financial management best practices
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support sustainable cloud adoption
- Maintain operational documentation, standards, and procedures
- Support continuous service improvement initiatives across the cloud platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in cloud operations, cloud engineering, or infrastructure-related roles
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable public cloud platforms
- Good understanding of cloud governance, security, and operational best practices
- Experience with cloud monitoring, reporting, and operational management
- Understanding of cloud cost management and FinOps principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Microsoft Azure certifications, such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments and multi-subscription cloud platforms (preferred)
- Familiarity with scripting, reporting, and data analysis tools to support cloud operations and optimization activities (preferred)
- Experience with PowerShell, Power BI, SQL, or similar tools for reporting, analytics, and operational efficiency (preferred)
- Basic software development knowledge, such as C# or comparable programming languages (preferred)
