About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design business solutions and system integrations, identifying reusable design patterns with emphasis on scalability, performance, availability, and security
- Propose application modernization solutions and application lifecycle management efficiencies
- Identify gaps in existing deployment and L3 production issues
- Understand Business and IT priorities to identify low-code tooling opportunities and improve DevOps processes
- Collaborate with development, Infrastructure, and Site Reliability Engineering teams to implement solutions
- Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect on design reviews, methodologies, and best practices
- Maintain architecture diagrams that accurately reflect the current state of solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- University Degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Engineering or Business IT studies would be a plus)
- Experience in the analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of application systems based on .NET Framework, IIS, Windows & WCF Services, Microsoft SQL Server and Reporting Services
- Experience with architecting full-stack IT modernization strategies with focus on resilience, reliability, performance, and high availability
- Experience in application integration (Webservices, APIs, queues, batches, etc)
- Strong experience on Azure cloud services, with an emphasis on SQL Databases, VMs, API Management, Application Gateway / Azure Frontdoor, and general Azure networking and security
- Experience with Kubernetes on Azure, Azure containerization, and Azure data services like Databricks, Purview, Synapse, etc. is desired and considered as a plus
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and/or Azure DevOps is desired and considered as a plus
- Openness to gain knowledge and work with DevOps methodologies and public cloud services such as Microsoft Azure
- Previous experience in financial sector is a plus
- Azure certifications are a plus
- Fluency in English language (spoken and written)
- Availability to travel
