About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and deliver Microsoft security solutions for customer projects
- Lead security architecture, design, and implementation activities
- Translate business and security requirements into scalable, secure solutions
- Design and implement solutions using Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Conditional Access, MFA, and PIM
- Conduct security assessments, architecture reviews, and gap analyses
- Create security strategies, architecture diagrams, technical designs, and implementation plans
- Apply Zero Trust principles across identity, data, cloud, and endpoint security
- Collaborate with project teams and customer stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide guidance on compliance, Microsoft Copilot, and AI security and governance
- Mentor consultants and contribute to security standards and reusable delivery assets
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security architecture
- Strong experience designing and implementing Microsoft security solutions
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra ID, and Purview
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust, identity security, data protection, and cloud security
- Experience translating security and compliance requirements into technical solutions
- Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or ISO 27001
- Experience developing architecture documentation, implementation plans, and technical designs
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, AI governance, and emerging AI security considerations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong consulting, communication, and customer-facing skills
- US citizenship or Green Card holder status authorized to work in the US
- Microsoft certifications such as SC-100, AZ-500, SC-300, or SC-400 (desired)
- CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Security+, or similar certifications (desired)
- Experience leading Microsoft security modernization or Zero Trust initiatives (desired)
- Experience with Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, Identity Governance, DLP, and Information Protection (desired)
- Experience securing Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled workloads (desired)
