About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will be responsible for day-to-day operational finance, accounting, and controlling activities
You will support business planning and goal-oriented reporting
You will define and monitor financial metrics and KPIs
You will be responsible for further developing and updating our financial model
You will ensure compliance with all applicable German and EU legal and regulatory requirements
You will work closely with our CEO, the tax authorities, and other cross-functional team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have more than 3 years of experience in controlling, accounting, and finance at another start-up in an international environment
You have in-depth technical and legal knowledge of German tax law and accounting
You have experience with international finance processes, particularly transfer pricing
You have experience in financial modeling (you can use Excel without a mouse)
You are able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
You are fluent in German and English
A legal background or legal expertise would be an advantage
