About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver an inspiring shopping experience in which guests feel inspired and empowered to customize their space.
Promote the Ballard Designs brand at every guest encounter.
Ensure the team exemplifies brand values, standards, and experiences.
Guide company programs, increase sales, and set the store to exceed expectations.
Report to the Store Leader.
Exemplify the guest experience and lead a team of service-minded associates.
Coach team members on product knowledge and provide tools to meet guest needs.
Partner with the Sales Lead-Visual Merchandising on product and assortment needs.
Perform store opening, closing, and banking activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in the specialty retail industry, but not required.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for floor-set execution.
Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50lbs.
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Outlook, and POS systems.
Additional physical requirements may be required, i.e. climbing ladders.
Ability to work onsite daily at the West Chester, OH location.
Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
