About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Co-own the entire back-end stack
- Design, build, and maintain core microservices in Python and Go
- Use AI-first development workflows and create detailed plans for agents
- Evaluate generated code to ensure it fulfills requirements
- Manage, deploy, and scale services using Kubernetes
- Ensure high availability and system reliability
- Collaborate on architectural, tool selection, and product roadmap decisions
- Build quickly while maintaining security and compliance standards
- Run DevOps and monitor production systems
- Occasionally work on the React/TypeScript frontend to unblock feature releases
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience building and scaling production-grade back-end systems
- Deep, production-level expertise in Go and/or Python
- Comfort switching between Go and Python
- Highly proficient in leveraging AI-first coding workflows
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience
- Ability to set up, debug, and manage containerized environments independently
- Product-oriented, "founder" mindset
- Willingness to occasionally work on React/TypeScript frontend
- Ability to work with high security and compliance standards for financial systems
