About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with physician billing operational leadership to understand workflows, processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities
  • Translate physician billing operational needs into clear, buildable requirements for Product and Engineering
  • Help adapt R37 technology supporting hospital billing workflows to meet physician billing requirements
  • Work with Product and Engineering throughout development to ensure solutions meet operational needs
  • Lead discovery, process mapping, requirements documentation, testing, validation, and implementation support
  • Analyze operational data to identify root causes, trends, themes, and automation opportunities
  • Manage and develop team members through direction, mentorship, and performance support
  • Present strategies, requirements, risks, progress updates, and recommended solutions to operational and executive leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Eight or more years of healthcare operations experience, including revenue cycle management, provider, payer, or vendor experience
  • Operational experience or meaningful exposure within the physician billing space
  • Experience leading and managing associates
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, IT, or other technical teams to develop operational solutions
  • Ability to translate complex operational workflows into clear requirements, process maps, and implementation plans
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using data to identify trends, root causes, and performance opportunities
  • Knowledge of operating systems, payor portals, EHRs, and healthcare revenue cycle workflows
  • Ability to operate independently, proactively identify risks, and lead ambiguous work
  • Strong written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new platforms and technical concepts
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25%
