About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with Process Engineers and consulting teams to deliver Phare Claim solutions by creating product vision documents, product roadmaps, and future-state process flows
Translate business requirements into technical architecture and implementation plans through current-state mid-cycle assessments, standard operating procedures, and process mapping
Provide technical and operational coding guidance throughout engagements
Design implementation and stakeholder communication plans for client-specific use cases
Design end-user technology training and change management plans to drive adoption and create feedback loops for ongoing support
Develop sustainable mechanisms to monitor KPIs and SLAs for measurable value creation and performance tracking in steady-state operations
Collaborate with executive teams to align medical coding processes with strategic objectives
Analyze and optimize medical coding workflows leveraging AI technology
Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and operational teams to ensure communication and implementation of best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

AAPC or AHIMA Certified coding professional: CIC, CPC, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT required for the Mid-Cycle Coding-focused Consultant
Experience in healthcare client-facing consulting
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence key stakeholders
Proficiency in data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving
Significant experience in project management, process improvement, and implementation support
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS coding guidelines and reimbursement methodologies
