About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop scalable AI systems for retrieval, ranking, categorization, and generative AI over large-scale unstructured healthcare data
Design, build, and operate AI/ML systems end-to-end, from problem framing and model selection through production deployment and ongoing improvement
Define scalable, explainable, and maintainable AI abstractions and system architectures for complex business problems
Design ranking and triage models that route work between AI agents and human operators
Partner with software engineers, product managers, clinicians, and operators to deliver measurable business value
Build and optimize machine learning infrastructure
Develop scalable AI systems and bring innovative models into production

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience designing, building, and deploying production AI/ML systems and services
Experience building and scaling 0→1 AI products from prototype to production
Experience with model evaluation, benchmarking, experiment tracking, validation methodologies, and ML lifecycle management
Experience developing large-scale AI applications involving retrieval systems, ranking models, generative AI, or other advanced machine learning technologies
Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and translate complex business problems into scalable AI solutions
Experience working with healthcare data, healthcare technology, or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) environments (preferred)
Experience mentoring engineers and driving AI/ML best practices across teams (preferred)
Candidates sought at levels L2 through Staff
