About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain high-quality solutions across SaaS healthcare applications and services
  • Direct, review, and refine output from AI coding agents to deliver working software
  • Translate requirements into specifications, tasks, prompts, acceptance criteria, and technical design documentation
  • Use AI coding agents to implement features, resolve defects, write tests, produce documentation, and safely modify unfamiliar code
  • Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, quality, and adherence to engineering standards
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and cross-functional partners
  • Design, build, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable healthcare applications
  • Apply CI/CD, automation, auditability, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and policy as code
  • Take ownership of changes released to production

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of software engineering experience including hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools
  • Experience using AI coding agents or assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools through professional, academic, or substantial personal projects
  • Ability to write clear, precise instructions and technical specifications
  • Understanding of how context, examples, constraints, and acceptance criteria influence agent output
  • Strong code-reading and code-review skills
  • Ability to assess generated code for correctness, security, performance, safety, and adherence to established standards
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming in C#, Java, or TypeScript
  • Knowledge of version control, unit testing, continuous integration, and Agile development
  • Ability to protect PHI and other sensitive information through approved AI tools and company policies
