About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of AI/ML, data, and full-stack engineers delivering AI-native products
Define organizational structure and necessary functions
Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering talent
Collaborate with product, engineering, AI research, and data science teams on strategic goals and AI product roadmaps
Lead hiring, recruiting, and onboarding of new talent
Spearhead innovation in 0→1 product areas using new AI/ML technologies and techniques
Champion agile methodologies and DevOps best practices
Foster continuous improvement, automated testing, operational excellence, and efficient software delivery and release
Support a diverse and inclusive team culture through hiring, community events, mentoring, and development initiatives
Drive delivery of scalable AI-powered solutions from concept to production

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience leading, hiring, and developing engineering teams as an Engineering Manager
Proven experience building and scaling teams that deliver Search, Ranking, Generative AI, or other AI-driven products at scale
Strong track record of leading 0→1 product development and transforming innovative ideas into successful customer-facing solutions
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Kotlin, or C#
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Healthcare or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with 3 days onsite at the SOHO Office Hub in New York City
