About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain and improve applications and data solutions within the Risk & Finance domain
Develop, maintain and enhance business-critical applications using .NET, Azure Functions, Durable Functions and SQL Server
Deliver features and technical improvements agreed during sprint planning in an Agile and Scrum environment
Ensure applications and data solutions remain available, secure, compliant, high-performing and future-ready
Contribute to modernisation initiatives transforming existing applications into data-driven solutions using Azure data platform technologies
Share expertise in software engineering, DevOps, data engineering, security and cloud technologies to support team growth
Work within the Credit Core team in the Risk & Finance Tech domain with engineers and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5+ years of experience in .NET development, DevOps, Platform Engineering or a similar field
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
Knowledge of scalable, secure and maintainable software solutions
Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Experience with microservices
Experience with event-driven architectures
Knowledge of Risk, Finance or banking processes
Azure certifications in Development, DevOps Engineering or Data Engineering
Knowledge of modern Azure data platform concepts and data lake architectures
Reliability screening forms part of the recruitment process
