About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop and maintain orchestration workflows that help teams automate engineering journeys through the ANOW! platform
Build reusable workflow templates and automation components that reduce manual work and improve developer experience
Develop integrations with REST APIs, event-driven architectures and callback-based patterns for scalable service onboarding
Contribute to platform standardisation, scalability and maintainability
Improve engineering practices and optimise workflows to support teams and future growth
Work closely with service providers, platform engineers and product owners
Collaborate across an area with 8 squads, including the orchestration and workflow enablement squad
Help shape how Rabobank engineers design, build and collaborate through reusable workflows, integrations and automation capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience as a DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, or Platform Engineer
Strong API and integration development experience
Solid knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth2, webhooks, and service integrations
Experience with TypeScript and/or Python
Experience with Git and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps preferred)
Strong problem-solving and engineering mindset
Ability to design reusable and scalable solutions
Experience with workflow or orchestration platforms is nice-to-have
Experience with ANOW! Automate is nice-to-have
Knowledge of event-driven architectures is nice-to-have
Experience with Terraform, CDK, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools is nice-to-have
Platform engineering experience is nice-to-have
Domain-driven design knowledge is nice-to-have
Comfortable working in a fast-evolving environment
A systems thinker who understands end-to-end processes
Passionate about automation and developer enablement
Collaborative and able to work across multiple teams
Focused on building reusable solutions rather than one-off implementations
A reliability assessment is part of the procedure
