About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and prioritise the Azure platform vision and roadmap across infrastructure, observability, security, architecture guardrails and platform integrations
Translate model development squad and stakeholder needs into scalable platform capabilities and a clear, prioritised roadmap
Enable teams to deploy independently, control and observe production workloads, and work within predefined networking, identity and access management, Databricks and storage standards
Manage shared security capabilities, operational responsibilities, deployment and CI/CD templates, and platform integrations
Reduce day-to-day dependency on the Platform team by standardising reusable capabilities, clarifying shared operational ownership and progressing towards self-service
Collaborate with engineers, architects, security specialists, operations teams, model development squads and other stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

An academic degree or equivalent level of thinking in a technical field, such as computer science
At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager for a cloud, infrastructure or operations product
Solid understanding of IT service management, production operations, incident management and shared operational ownership
Experience with infrastructure or data platforms
Ability to translate technical detail and business needs into clear product choices, priorities and measurable outcomes
Ability to lead a platform product and collaborate with engineers, architects, security specialists and operations teams
Reliable, communicative and decisive approach, combined with collaboration and pragmatism
Ability to thrive in a high-impact, dynamic environment and challenge requests that conflict with platform principles
Proactive and independent way of working, with a strong sense of ownership and focus on enabling others
Knowledge of Azure Databricks
Experience with Transaction Monitoring or Financial Economic Crime
