About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and execute the vision, strategy, roadmap and adoption of enterprise quality engineering capabilities
  • Connect Engineering, Product, Architecture, DevOps and Leadership
  • Manage Performance Engineering, including performance testing, reliability, capacity and scalability
  • Manage Contract Testing and Quality Governance, including contract and API testing, integration testing, traceability, test automation and governance
  • Manage capabilities as products and services, focusing on measurable outcomes, value realisation and adoption
  • Ensure scanning products continuously evolve to support engineering productivity while meeting security and compliance expectations
  • Define long-term capability vision, strategy and product roadmap
  • Translate strategy into prioritised outcomes and establish capability maturity targets
  • Define capabilities and assess their maturity and adoption
  • Manage engineering capabilities throughout their lifecycle
  • Define success metrics and adoption targets, measure business outcomes and improve capability effectiveness
  • Align stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, Operations and Leadership
  • Drive strategic decisions, build consensus and enable adoption
  • Promote product thinking and capability ownership across teams
  • Drive adoption, support capability development and foster communities of practice
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement and AI-enabled opportunities while balancing value, risk, cost and adoption

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 7 years of experience in Product Management, Engineering Leadership, Quality Engineering
  • Experience managing strategic technology capabilities, product roadmaps and adoption in services in enterprise environments
  • Strong strategic and systems thinking
  • Data-driven decision-making skills
  • Communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, facilitate workshops, build communities and drive organisational change
  • Knowledge of performance engineering, observability, reliability, contract and API testing, traceability, test automation or test governance
  • Experience with JMeter, Grafana, LoadRunner, OpenTelemetry, SmartBear PactFlow, KONG or Azure Test Plans is an advantage
  • Understanding of emerging technology opportunities, including AI enablement, is an advantage
  • Affinity for GenAI-driven developer tooling and automation
  • Must be located in the Netherlands
  • Must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands
  • Must not require relocation from another country
  • Reliability check as part of the procedure
