About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop analytical models and decision logic to determine which customer segments, parameters and rules should be prioritised for tuning.
Translate human-driven tuning decisions into automated data-driven recommendations and analytical solutions.
Improve and automate analytical workflows across rules, segments and parameter combinations.
Develop production-ready dashboards and decision-support tools.
Develop data-driven rule-tuning strategies and optimise thresholds.
Build scalable, robust and reproducible analytical pipelines.
Design and develop dashboards, automated workflows and decision-support tools for rule tuning and investigations.
Collaborate with Business, Tech and Operations stakeholders within a multidisciplinary Transaction Monitoring team.
Help improve Transaction Monitoring processes and financial crime detection effectiveness.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A master’s degree in a technical field.
More than 7 years of experience performing data analysis in Python.
Experience with PySpark, Databricks and Power BI.
Experience building end-to-end solutions using repositories, version control, pipelines and testing frameworks.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to uncover the real question behind a request, understand complex business processes and stakeholder needs, and present insights and recommendations convincingly in English.
Structured and proactive approach to translating business needs into scalable analytical solutions and automation.
Experience guiding junior and mid-level colleagues and sharing a clear technical vision.
A Dutch work permit and residence are required.
